For over 60 years, Farnham Equipment Company has been one of Ohio’s leading providers of Casework, Bleachers, Grandstands, Telescoping Platforms, Fixed Seating, Athletic Equipment, and Furniture Products to the educational, healthcare, and institutional marketplace.

Our company is involved in the entire lifecycle of many facilities—from design to installation, through years of maintenance, and eventual replacement or upgrades. Our service/maintenance team covers inspections, repairs, preventative maintenance, parts sales, equipment upgrades, and full replacement for customers throughout Ohio and Michigan.

We are seeking a self-motivated Service Estimating Specialist to support our growing service/maintenance team. This role will include immediate client-facing responsibilities and collaboration across departments. We are looking for someone eager to grow their career in the construction/service industry.

• Interacting with customers, vendors, and internal team members (in-person, phone, email, chat, etc.)
• Updating and managing estimating tasks within Salesforce CRM
• Preparing detailed system-generated quotes for new service requests
• Following up on existing quotes and managing inbound inquiries
• Developing custom quotes and proposals in Salesforce
• Sourcing, pricing, and ordering parts with vendors
• Editing inspection reports and estimating repairs, renovations, and upgrades
• Assisting with process improvements and customer service standards
• Conducting field visits to better understand products and applications

• 1+ year of customer service experience in construction, distribution, or a related field (preferred, not required)
• Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred, not required)
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and electronic)
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail
• Positive team player with a willingness to learn (training provided)
