Akkodis is seeking a Direct Hire Devops Engineer for our client based out in Linthicum Heights MD.
Salary Range: $110K-$130K per annum. The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, or a related field.
Equivalent professional experience may substitute for formal education.
8+ years of professional experience in a DevOps or Systems Administration role within Linux environments.
3+ years of experience managing complex systems infrastructure and workflow automation.
5+ years of experience working in DevOps/Agile/Scrum development environments.
Strong expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps.
Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and related DevOps toolchains.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code, container orchestration, and monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Groovy.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
