Part-Time Butcher Assistant

Were a locally owned butcher shop dedicated to providing high-quality meats and excellent customer service. Were looking for a reliable and hardworking team member to join our back-of-house crew. This is a rare opportunity to gain hands-on experience under the guidance of our head butcher a chef trained by James Beardhonored mentors and seasoned in Michelin-starred kitchens. Youll build real-world skills in a professional food environment while learning techniques that you can carry with you both in and out of the kitchen.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with meat preparation trimming and packaging.
• Keep work areas tools and equipment clean and sanitized.
• Receive and properly store deliveries.
• Follow all food safety and workplace safety procedures.
• Support team members and help ensure smooth daily operations.

What Were Looking For:

• Prior kitchen or food service experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
• Comfortable working with raw meat and sharp tools.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Dependable team-oriented and punctual.

Schedule & Pay:

• Part-time position (weekend and weekday/evening availability).
• Starting wage $17 per hour.
