Job Description:

• We are seeking a highly motivated QA Tester with experience in testing web-based applications written in NodeJS.
• The candidate will be responsible for creating and executing test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of the application.
• The QA Tester will work with a team of developers and other stakeholders to identify bugs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure that the application is fully functional and error-free before release.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and improve test cases and test plans regularly.
• Identify, isolate, and report defects and issues discovered during testing.
• Generate test reports on a regular cadence.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure that test cases cover all relevant features and requirements.
• Participate in system and regression testing to ensure the application is working at optimal levels.
• Implement and maintain quality assurance processes and standards to improve product quality.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years Proven experience in software testing- UI preferred, with a focus on web-based applications written in NodeJS.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Selenium.
• Demonstrable experience with defect tracking systems such as Jira or Bugzilla.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
• Ability to write automation scripts in JavaScript/Python.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum processes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins.
