Job Description

Exciting opportunity to join a strong company covering the South Florida territory. This role will prospect, sell, and manage relationships with general contractors. Strong opportunities for career growth and competitive base salary plus commission.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a tactical sales/capture plan
  • Concentrate efforts on implementing a direct field tactical sales program
  • Build new client relationships with key accounts and develop strategic teaming relationships with firms in selected markets
  • Assist in the determination and development of market penetration strategies
  • Identify key accounts within targeted markets
  • Join and attend appropriate trade/networking organizations and represent the firm to expand our image and reach
  • Maintain high level of knowledge of product knowledge
  • Keep up to date on the industry’s happenings and knowledge of key individual movement and potential client strategies
  • Provide assistance to assure that appropriate marketing and presentation materials effectively target slated markets and accounts to help close sales.
  • Committed to a varying work schedule and travel within territory
  • Maintain contacts and BD activities in the company CRM database

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or related work experience
  • Minimum 5 years outside business development experiences
  • Strong oral, written and presentation skills.
  • A self-motivated person with an entrepreneurial spirit that is committed to a successful career in outside sales.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently prospect for new sources of business and able to attend events cold, make cold calls as needed and engage with potential targets.
  • Ability to set and achieve challenging business development goals, and successfully manage accounts within the designated region.
  • Ability to develop a strong rapport with clients and maintain excellent working relationships.
