Rajsamand MLA Deepti Kiran Maheshwari interacted with residents during her visit to various villages across the Rajsamand Assembly constituency. During the tour, she participated in the Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav at Baliyon Ka Guda, offered prayers, and wished for peace, prosperity, and the well-being of the region.
Addressing the gathering, Maheshwari said that the Digital India initiative, launched under the leadership of the Prime Minister, has become one of the strongest pillars of India's development. She said the campaign is not limited to technological advancement but has emerged as an effective tool for good governance, transparency, accountability, and citizen empowerment. According to her, digital technology has bridged the gap between the government and citizens by delivering public services directly to people's doorsteps.
She highlighted that initiatives such as Aadhaar, DigiLocker, UPI, BHIM App, Jan Dhan-Aadhaar-Mobile (JAM), Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), UMANG Portal, eSanjeevani, Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, BharatNet, Common Service Centres (CSC), PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi, SVAMITVA Scheme, and e-NAM have simplified, secured, and made governance more transparent for millions of citizens. Government benefits are now transferred directly to beneficiaries' bank accounts without intermediaries, significantly reducing corruption and making the administrative system more accountable.
Maheshwari said India's digital payment ecosystem has earned global recognition. She added that expanded internet connectivity in villages, online education, telemedicine, digital banking, and e-governance services have integrated rural India into the country's development journey. She emphasized that the vision of a Developed India can be achieved through the combined strength of modern technology, innovation, and public participation.
She urged citizens to make greater use of digital services, remain vigilant about cyber security, and take full advantage of government welfare schemes. She said the Central Government continues to work to ensure that the benefits of development reach the last person in society, reflecting the vision of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas."
During the Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav, the MLA also sought the blessings of saints and spiritual leaders and interacted with local residents regarding regional development, public issues, and ongoing development projects.
Public representatives, BJP office-bearers, members of social and religious organizations, and a large number of devotees and villagers were present on the occasion.
