Ultrasound Technologist – Urology (Contract)/Travel Health

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Coverage Needed: 3–4 days per week (4 days preferred)

Assignment Length: 26 weeks

Start: February 2026

Setting: Outpatient / Ambulatory

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to support a busy outpatient urology practice on a 26-week contract assignment. This role offers consistent weekday hours, no weekends or holidays, and free on-site parking. The technologist will perform a high daily scan volume and work closely with a collaborative clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Perform 20–26 ultrasound exams per day , including:
• Renal and bladder studies
• Scrotal exams
• Transabdominal prostate ultrasounds
• Penile Doppler studies
• Prostate biopsies
• Gold marker placement for prostate cancer
• Operate and maintain GE Logiq F8 ultrasound equipment
• Upload and manage images using UroChart EMR (no PACS system)
• Ensure accurate documentation and image quality
• Communicate effectively with providers and clinical staff
• Deliver professional, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
• Active ARDMS certification
• Ability to manage a high-volume workflow efficiently
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working in a urology setting
• Familiarity with outpatient or procedural ultrasound environments
