Job Description

The Treasury Manager will be a highly motivated leader who will oversee and manage all aspects of the company’s treasury operations to meet the financial obligations of the organization.

Duties and responsibilities

Funding

  • Optimize enterprise liquidity (>10 entities and >100 accounts) to minimize working capital and borrowing costs
  • Identify funding needs and oversee transfers between bank accounts
  • Responsible for cash reporting and forecasting
  • Identify bank fee reduction opportunities
  • Oversee the investment of surplus funds and monitor investment performance

Accounting

  • Responsible for accounting entries and schedules related to debt facility
  • Review monthly bank reconciliations and cash related schedules prepared by staff
  • Perform monthly close tasks as assigned
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of all accounts

Other

  • Monitor daily cash positions for multiple bank accounts
  • Responsible for timely and accurate filing of Unclaimed Property
  • Manage relationships with financial institutions
  • Responsible for bank platform administration and user assistance
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, legal obligations, and company policies.
  • Identify needs for automation and streamlining of processes and assist with implementation of those improvements
  • Manage the treasury team, providing guidance and support
  • Support management with various projects/tasks as needed

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in treasury management required
  • 1-3 years supervisory experience

Specialized knowledge:

  • Must be able to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks effectively and efficiently while maintaining a professional, courteous manner
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and other software programs/platforms specific to company needs
  • Possess excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Possess a high level of efficiency and accuracy
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with honesty and integrity
  • Possess outstanding organizational ability and great attention to detail
  • Must be self-motivated and comfortable working independently as well as within a team
