Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) – Palo Alto, CA

Compensation:
2+ Years of Experience
  • Weekly Gross: $2,281.68

    • Taxable: $1,324.68
    • Non-Taxable: $957 ($735 housing + $222 meals)
5+ Years of Experience:

  • Weekly Gross: $3,000.10

    • Taxable: $1,724.10
    • ??????? Non-Taxable: $1,276 ($980 housing + $296 meals)
Schedule and Assignment Details
  • Shift: 7:30 PM – 8:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
  • Schedule: Three shifts per week, every other weekend required
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Contract Duration: 13 weeks (high possibility of extension past 13 weeks)

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of care for patients requiring urgent or emergency treatment
  • Assess, prioritize, and respond to patients’ medical needs
  • Administer medications and treatments while operating medical equipment safely
  • Participate in emergency situations such as trauma cases and code responses
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
  • ???????Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and aftercare instructions
Qualifications Required:

  • Active  California RN license
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)from an accredited program
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience in a Level 1 trauma center
Certifications:

  • BLS (American Heart Association)
  • ACLS (American Heart Association)
  • PALS (American Heart Association)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)
