Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Surgical Tech for a job in New York, NY.
Responsibilities:
• Provide chair-side and “four-handed” assistance to clinicians in the oral surgery clinic and dental OR.
• Escort patients, review charts, and prepare treatment areas and equipment.
• Set up sterile instruments, trays, and materials for each procedure.
• Take radiographs before, during, or after procedures as requested.
• Monitor patient vitals, suction, pass instruments, and assist with medications.
• Clean and disinfect work areas; restock supplies and maintain equipment readiness.
• Break down rooms, dispose of medical waste, and handle instruments post-procedure.
• Respond appropriately during emergencies.
Requirements:
• Dental Assistant Certification (Required).
• AHA BLS certification (Required).
• Minimum 3 years of experience (5 years preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
