Salary: $136,800 - 136,800 per year Requirements:

• Masters degree in sociology
• OR Bachelors degree in sociology AND Masters degree in anthropology, ethnic studies, social work, or psychology
• OR an equivalent combination of education, experience, and accomplishments in the field
• A demonstrated awareness of and sensitivity to the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students
• Degrees and credits must be from accredited institutions
• Ability to maintain subject matter relevancy and effectiveness in delivery
• Willingness to explore and adopt new technologies relevant to educational delivery

• Engage in part-time teaching and facilitate learning for sociology courses
• Develop curriculum catering to various learning modalities
• Collaborate effectively in a collegial environment that supports diverse learners
• Participate in activities related to recruitment and articulation with local educational institutions
• Assess student learning outcomes and provide constructive feedback
• Communicate effectively with students and colleagues, both in writing and verbally
