Scenic Finisher — Master of the Final Touch

Your eye for detail and mastery of finishes make you the last, critical step before our projects take center stage.

What You’ll Do

• Transform the Ordinary — Sand, prep, and finish wood, metal, foam, and composite surfaces until they’re show-ready.
• Paint Like a Pro — Apply paints, stains, glazes, varnishes, and specialty scenic finishes that elevate every build.
• Texture Wizardry — Create faux rust, stone, wood, leather, and other effects that wow at first sight.
• Color Perfection — Mix and match to nail exact shades and tones.
• Collaborate & Create — Work alongside carpenters, metal fabricators, and project managers to bring the vision home.
• Quality Control — Inspect every finish to ensure consistency, durability, and beauty.
• Keep It Tight — Maintain a safe, clean, and organized finishing area.

What You Bring

• Strong artistic and visual design skills.
• Experience in scenic, theatrical, or themed entertainment finishing.
• Expertise in multiple paint application methods (spray, brush, roller, sponge).
• Knowledge of surface prep for various materials.
• Keen eye for detail and color matching.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Portfolio or samples of past scenic finish work.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
• Manual dexterity and precision in repetitive tasks.

• PPE required and provided.
• Flexible hours, occasional overtime, and travel as needed.
