** DURATION: 6-month assignment with the possibility of extension

** WORK SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM CST,

Pay Rate: $35.00/hr. – $39.00/hr

About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Oncology RN to join our team as a Remote Oncology Triage Nurse, providing expert telephonic triage, patient education, and care coordination. This role supports oncology patients by assessing concerns, identifying high-risk symptoms, and directing care promptly and safely from your home.

You’ll deliver professional, compassionate nursing care according to national standards and state RN scope of practice, while supporting high-quality patient outcomes and overall satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Provide telephonic triage and assess oncology patient symptoms and needs
• Identify high-risk or emergent conditions and escalate appropriately
• Deliver patient education and help direct care to the right resources
• Document all assessments and decisions accurately in the EMR
• Collaborate with clinicians, practice staff, and care teams
• Uphold all quality, compliance, and ethical standards (US Oncology Compliance Program)

Job Requirements:

• Education : Active multistate/compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent dedicated oncology experience
• Outpatient oncology practice OR
• Hospital oncology unit
• Must live in the Greater Houston area (commutable to The Woodlands for training/meetings)
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and telecommunication tools
• Reliable high-speed internet + private, HIPAA-compliant workspace at home
