Property Accountant Up to $85K

With a team of 15 in-office employees and a dedicated group out in the field managing a diverse portfolio of properties, this firm is expanding and looking for a talented Property Accountant to take on a dynamic and impactful role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full-Cycle Property Accounting: Oversee all aspects of property accounting for a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties
• General Ledger & Month-End Close: Manage journal entries, financial statement preparation, and month-end close processes
• Budget & Financial Analysis: Collaborate with leadership on budget planning and performance analysis
• Accounts Payable/Receivable & Reconciliations: Handle AP, AR, and perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
• Software Utilization: Leverage AppFolio for accounting functions and advanced Excel skills for reporting

Ideal Candidate:

• Property Accounting Experience: At least 2 years of experience with property accounting, including GL, AP, AR, and financial reporting
• Tech-Savvy: Proficient in AppFolio or similar property management software, with strong Excel skills
• Detail-Oriented: Organized, with a high level of accuracy and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
