Job Description

Optomi, in partnership with a leading telecommunications company, is seeking an experienced Program Manager III to support multiple high-visibility initiatives within the mobile product space. This role will drive delivery of complex, enterprise-level programs, ensuring alignment with broader strategic goals. The right candidate will combine strong business acumen with exceptional relationship-building and executive communication skills to successfully manage cross-functional efforts and keep programs moving forward.

Responsibilities of the Right Candidate

  • Lead multiple concurrent programs across mobile product initiatives such as messaging, roaming, and convergence.
  • Coordinate interdependent projects, aligning delivery with organizational priorities and revenue-focused objectives.
  • Drive program planning, scheduling, governance, and reporting from inception through completion.
  • Deliver concise, executive-level updates and presentations to senior leadership (VP, GVP, SVP).
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships across IT, marketing, and product teams.
  • Ensure risks, dependencies, and issues are proactively identified, communicated, and resolved.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between stakeholders to ensure program success.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends, business conditions, and internal practices impacting project delivery.

Qualifications of the Right Candidate

  • 5–10 years of enterprise-level program management experience in large organizations, preferably within product or software development.
  • Proven ability to deliver complex, enterprise-scale initiatives with cross-functional visibility.
  • Strong executive presence, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills and the ability to read and adapt to organizational dynamics.
  • Calm, thoughtful decision-making under pressure; ability to adapt quickly to change.
  • Positive, professional, and collaborative communication style.
  • Mobile product background preferred, but not required.
  • Denver-based candidate able to work onsite 4 days per week in the Denver Tech Center.
