Job Description

BGSF has teamed up with a telecommunications company who is in search of a Pricing Manager on a direct-hire basis. This will operate on a hybrid schedule with the ability to work from home 2 days/week. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience working in pricing, strategy, analysis and come with telecommunications industry experience.

Job Responsibilities:

Pricing Strategy & Management

• Develop and execute pricing strategies for existing and new telecommunications products and services.
• Design and maintain pricing models that align with customer value, cost structures, and competitive positioning.
• Lead pricing reviews and recommend changes based on performance and market shifts.

Analysis & Reporting

• Conduct in-depth pricing analysis, elasticity modeling, and scenario planning to support business decisions.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as ARPU, margin contribution, churn rates, and customer acquisition costs.
• Prepare and present pricing performance reports to senior leadership.

Competitive & Market Intelligence

• Benchmark pricing against competitors and industry trends.
• Stay updated on regulatory developments and market dynamics that impact pricing.

Collaboration & Governance

• Partner with product and marketing teams to align pricing with go-to-market strategies.
• Ensure pricing policies and discounting guidelines are consistently applied across sales channels.
• Support contract negotiations with strategic pricing inputs.

Systems & Tools

• Manage pricing tools or platforms; work with IT or data teams to streamline pricing operations.
• Maintain pricing databases and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience working in pricing, finance and analysis
• Must have experience working in the telecommunications industry and pricing with products such as fiber, ethernet, VOIP, DWDM, etc.
• Must come with strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, formulas, pivot tables)
• Experience with Power BI, SQL or similar tools
