Job Description

Residential Capital Partners is looking for a Portfolio Review Associate that will be responsible for assisting our loan underwriting and accounting team with the monitoring of our loan portfolio including the processing of repair draws, facilitating modifications on maturing loans while providing excellent customer service internally and externally.

Education - College degree preferred. High school diploma or equivalent is acceptable.

Job Skills - Detail-oriented nature, strong communication skills, organization skills, computer skills.

Experience - Experience to include private lending, mortgage lending, loan administration, mortgage office, real estate, or similar fields. We are looking for someone who has a proven record and can handle a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Must be willing to perform a wide variety of tasks.

Essential Skills

Portfolio Review Associate duties and responsibilities include monitoring the existing loan portfolio, facilitating repair draws and extension requests, and providing any necessary administrative support to our underwriting and accounting team. Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material. Ability to effectively communicate via phone and email ensuring that all duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner. Report to the underwriting and accounting department.

Responsibilities

• Monitor loan specific information across portfolio. 
• Handle collection of payments.
• Respond timely to requests for repair draws.
• Handle special situation workout activity.
• Respond timely to requests for loan payoffs.
• Document and record communications with borrowers.
• Respond timely to requests for loan modifications.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

• Thorough understanding of loan documents.
• Proficient in CRM Systems (HubSpot).
• Strong analytical / problem solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task in entrepreneurial environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent reasoning and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Work in a team environment and think independently.

Required Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in loan servicing
• 1-2 years of experience in Microsoft Office applications.
• Mortgage industry experience or equivalent.
• Private lending experience (preferred).
