Network Planning Engineering - (Multiple level)

Melbourne, FL - 100% Onsite

Pay range: $37-70/hr on W2

• Bachelor of Science in Networking, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or equivalent of a 4-year accredited degree in a technical discipline.
• • 8+ years of network engineering experience with IP networks.
• • 6+ years of experience in the design, development and implementation of IP and MPLS network architectures.
• Excellent IP configuration and troubleshooting skills to include PIM, BGP, ISIS, OSPF, EIGRP, HSRP, VPLS, VRFs, L3VPN and Ethernet (The person doesn’t necessarily have to be ane expert in all, but some of them. If they have some they want to talk to them.)
• Experience developing and creating IP Addressing Plans, Advanced presentation and technical writing experience.
• Strong skill set with Microsoft Office software applications and Visio.
• SD WAN knowledge/exposure

The SAC Network Engineer will be responsible for:

• Execute and document formal acceptance testing of FTI products and services per program requirements

• Knowledge of FTI Telecommunications equipment installation, configuration and testing standards including TDM, PDH, SDH, SONET, and IP network architecture

• Possess an intermediate (CCNA certification, or equivalent experience) level of experience troubleshooting IP network configurations.

• Domain knowledge of data protocols including TCP/IP, DMVPN, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, EIGRP, HSRP, IS-IS, LDP, PIM, MSDP, and Ethernet.

• Strong customer interface skills supporting coordination of both Telco providers and Harris field technician site access as required

• Test, troubleshoot, and validate communication circuits per IEEE, ITU, TIA, ISO and FTI specifications

• Collaborate closely with FTI Engineering team members to resolve implementation and acceptance issues as needed

• Responsible to execute a coordinated Maintenance Request (MR) activity to support, Engineering changes per customer and program requirements.

• Responsible to execute services disconnects throughout the establish Network / CPE per customer and program request via establish program disconnect process.

Expert level industry certifications (e.g. CCIE)

• Experience with Network Scripting

• Strength in project management leadership
