MIG Welder (Metal Container Fabrication)

We are an established company looking for experienced, hardworking, quality employees with a strong work ethic. The welding process we primarily use is MIG; welding steel, aluminum & stainless steel sheet, and structural components.

Our employees work a regular day shift Mon-Thur 5:30 am - 4:30 pm (40 hours), overtime is sometimes necessary and mandatory. The pay range for the starting position is $18-$22 per hour, depending on weld test results. Evaluations are performed after the first 90 days and then annually.

Requirements needed:

• Dependable/Responsible.
• Ability to pass a weld test.
• Able to follow directions and work in a team-oriented environment.
• Able to measure and/or mark reference points or cutting lines on work pieces.
• Ability to certify on steel MIG welding process.
• Ability to certify on aluminum MIG welding process. (not required).
• Able to climb ladders and in/out containers.
• Be able to follow Company and general industry safety requirements.
• Be able to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Willing and able to follow basic safety and quality procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs.
• Must wear steel toe boots.
• Must have a clean drug screen.
• Be able to operate a forklift. (will train).

Experience:

• Warehouse or Shop: 1 year (Preferred).
• MIG Welding: 1 year (Required).
