Do you have experience working with micrometers, calipers and in reading blueprints?

Job Requirements:
- To be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma/GED
- To pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- To complete a physical exam after job offer.
- To read and understand blueprints.
- Possess Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD& T) reading capabilities.
- Possess your own basic machinist tools in support of measuring in the thousandths.
- Proficient in using inspection tools and techniques while holding tolerances to less than .001 of an inch.
- Great machine ship math and measurement skills with the ability to read calipers, micrometers, and gauge blocks.
- To lift 30+ pounds on a consistent basis throughout the 10-hour shift.
- To stand, stoop, bend, push, and pull for a 10-hour shift.
- 2 plus years of manual machining experience.
Job Duties:
- Set up and operate all types of manual equipment. Lathes, mills, grinders, radial arm drill press and dynamic balancers.
- Rotate to different machinery throughout the workday using inspection tools and techniques while holding tolerances to less than .001 of an inch.
- Read calipers, micrometers, gauge blocks.
- Read blueprints in English dating back to 1920's.
- Manual machining
- Balancing rolls.
- Running parts.
- All other duties as assigned
Hours:
- 6:00 am-4:30 pm Monday- Thursday
- Optional, occasional overtime on Fridays
Pay:
- $23.00 - $32.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications
