Maintenance Technician Level 2 – CNC Machine Shop

We’re looking for a motivated Maintenance Technician (Level 2) to join our team and help keep our CNC machines, shop equipment, and facility systems running safely and efficiently. In this role, you’ll perform preventative maintenance, assist with troubleshooting, and support senior technicians on machine repairs. What You’ll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance on CNC machines, shop equipment, and facility systems.
• Keep accurate maintenance records and perform basic tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing components.
• Support troubleshooting and repairs of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Assist senior technicians during machine breakdowns and major repairs.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized maintenance shop and production floor.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve maintenance issues and prevent recurrence.
• Help train and support Level 1 maintenance personnel.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment (CNC experience preferred).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to continue learning CNC machine maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose and repair both electrical and mechanical machine issues.
• Comfortable using basic hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Certification or ability to operate forklifts, hi-lo, or scissor lifts .
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and effective communication.
• Team-oriented, reliable, and safety-focused.

Education & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work in a manufacturing environment with noise, coolant, and machinery.
• Willingness to work overtime or weekends when needed.
