MACHINIST

Location: West Valley City, UT

Reports to: Shop Manager

Compensation: $30 - $40/hr

Your Role:

As a machinist, you’ll help bring critical components to life using brand-new 3- and 5-axis Matsuura mills. This is a chance to work with advanced equipment in a fresh division backed by an established industry leader – perfect for a detail-oriented professional looking to expand their skills and grow with us.

What You’ll Do:

• Set up and operate Matsuura mill machining centers, including tool changes, offsets, and program loading
• Monitor machining operations, troubleshoot issues, and perform in-process inspections
• Read blueprints and work orders to ensure parts meet specifications
• Conduct routine machine maintenance
• Assist with the setup and operation of the Matsuura MAM72 5-axis machining center for complex part production

What You’ll Bring:

• 3+ years of experience operating CNC milling machines (Fanuc mills strongly preferred)
• Solid knowledge of G-code/M-code and blueprint reading
• Skilled with measuring tools and quality checks
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• 5-axis experience – Matsuura knowledge is a plus!
• Working knowledge of Fusion 360 is preferred or a willingness to learn
