LPN/LVN - Skilled Nursing (PRN)

Location: Gloucester, MA, 01930

Payrate: $35 - $40/hr (Depending on experience)

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Type: PRN

Shifts Available:

• 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
• 3:00 PM 11:00 PM
• 7:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our skilled nursing team on a PRN basis. The LPN/LVN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to residents in a skilled nursing setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document patients' vital signs, conditions, and responses to treatment.
• Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and mobility support.
• Collaborate with RN staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans, medications, and health management.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with facility policies.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies.
• Uphold infection control and safety protocols at all times.

Required Requirements:

• Valid LPN or LVN license in the state of Massachusetts.
• CPR/BLS certification (current).
• At least 1 year of nursing experience in a SNF or long-term care facility.
• Ability to work flexible PRN shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
