Job Summary:
We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Licensing Operations Manager to support the Vice President for Women’s Apparel. This role is responsible for managing the operational aspects of our licensing business, including oversight of term sheets, contracts, day-to-day pool communication with licensing partners, samples, approvals, royalty collection, and administrative tracking. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of licensing workflows, excellent communication skills, and experience working with platforms, such as DocuSign.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide ongoing operational and administrative support to the VP of Licensing, including preparing reports, meeting summaries, scheduling all meetings and partner communication.
2. Manage and track term sheets, contracts, tracking documents and ensure timely execution via DocuSign.
3. Oversee daily operations with licensing partners, ensuring consistent communication, compliance with brand standards, and enforce brand guidelines across licensed products.
4. Coordinate and track product approvals, trademarks, reviewing all market samples and ensuring alignment with brand and quality standards.
5. Assist in the collection and reconciliation of royalty payment ensuring timely and accurate quarterly reporting.
6. Maintain internal databases and systems to ensure all licensing records, approvals, and contracts are current and organized.
7. Work cross-functionally with internal teams such as Legal, Design and Finance to support licensing initiatives.
Qualifications:
8. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, women’s fashion or a related field.
9. 5 - 10 years of experience in Licensing operations, preferably within fashion.
10. Proven experience working with DocuSign and contract management systems.
11. Strong understanding of licensing agreements, product development cycles, and royalty processes.
12. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
13. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
14. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
15. Experience in women’s apparel or fashion-related licensing.
