Job Description

The Lab Technician will join a longstanding, experienced team that values collaboration. Seasonal contractors are treated as integral members of the team, participating in all discussions, activities, and events. The workplace fosters open communication and a supportive atmosphere, ensuring contractors are well-integrated into the Sample Management team in the quality testing seed lab.

Lab Technician Responsibilities:

• Prepare seed samples for quality control testing, including weighing, grinding, and adding buffer.
• Assist senior lab members with tasks as needed.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to Health, Safety, Environmental and quality standards.
• Ensure all documents and processes comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain appropriate logs, notebooks and other records including

Lab Technician Qualifications:

• 1-3 Years of Experience lab experience preferred.
• Highschool diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office software.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience in an agriculture environment preferred.
• Ask questions and seek help when needed.
