Job Description

Job Duties including (but not limited to) the following:

• Responsible for insurance verification for new and existing specialty patients by phone or using pharmacy software or payer portals.
• Responsible for insurance re-verification for all specialty restart patients
• Responsible for insurance re-verification for all specialty patients at the beginning of each month and each new year.
• Responsible for advanced monitoring expiring authorizations for existing specialty patients
• Responsible for securing advanced re-authorization for existing specialty patients.
• Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies.

Qualifications:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to understand and communicate technical issues
• Prior experience in pharmacy or home health company is preferred
• Prior experience in a consumer related business is preferred
