Job Description

Customer Service Specialist - Medical Device (Life-Saving Products)

Ready to make every customer interaction count in life-saving medical technology? Join a pioneering regenerative medicine company where your attention to detail directly impacts patient outcomes. This isn't just order processing – it's ensuring heart patients receive the protective devices they need, when they need them.

About Our Client Pave Talent is hiring on behalf of our client, an established mid-size medical device manufacturer in North Atlanta with FDA-registered facilities and a collaborative, mission-driven, patient-first culture. This 50+ person organization recently launched the world's first FDA-cleared drug-eluting bioenvelope and is experiencing 84% sequential sales growth. With strong financial backing and strategic partnerships with industry leaders, they offer the stability of an established company with the growth trajectory of a startup.

Your Impact As Customer Service Specialist, you'll be the vital link between cutting-edge medical technology and the healthcare providers who need it. You'll manage the entire order lifecycle for products that protect cardiac implants from infection – literally helping heart patients live longer, healthier lives. Your accuracy in order processing and complaint handling ensures that life-saving products reach operating rooms on time, every time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and verify domestic customer orders through dual ERP systems, ensuring 100% accuracy for critical medical device shipments
  • Monitor orders from receipt through delivery, proactively addressing any issues that could delay patient care
  • Document and investigate customer complaints with FDA-compliant precision, turning feedback into quality improvements
  • Manage return authorizations and reconcile consignment inventories for high-value medical products
  • Build strong relationships with healthcare providers, serving as their trusted resource for product information
  • Collaborate with Sales, Quality, and Regulatory teams to ensure seamless customer experiences
  • Maintain compliant documentation meeting FDA QSR requirements and ISO 13485 standards

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years customer service experience (medical device/healthcare industry strongly preferred)
  • ERP system proficiency with order processing and inventory management
  • Exceptional attention to detail – errors aren't just numbers, they affect patient care
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for professional healthcare interactions
  • High school diploma required; Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with FDA-regulated products or pharmaceutical customer service
  • Account management experience in B2B healthcare settings
  • Knowledge of medical device distribution and logistics
  • Experience with consignment inventory reconciliation

What Sets This Opportunity Apart

  • Competitive base salary of $50,000-60,000 plus comprehensive benefits
  • Mission that matters : Your daily work directly supports products that save lives
  • CRU culture : Join a team that's Contagiously Confident, Ridiculously Relentless, and Unanimously United
  • Growth opportunity : Small company exposure to multiple departments and advancement paths
  • Stability meets innovation : Established company with explosive growth in cutting-edge technology
  • Work-life balance : Day shift schedule (7:30am-4:00pm) with no weekends or on-call requirements

The Team Culture You'll join a close-knit team that celebrates wins together and truly cares about each member's success. The leadership team is actively involved and accessible – this isn't a corporate maze where you're just a number. Recent team members describe it as "refreshing" and "night and day different" from typical corporate environments.
