Job Description

Salary Range : $120,000 - $140,000 plus potential bonus.

We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Human Resources Director to lead the transformation of our HR function. The ideal candidate will bring experience from both larger, structured corporate environments and smaller, entrepreneurial organizations. The ideal candidate will also have experience working with privately held, private equity-backed firms. This is an opportunity to serve as a change agent, implementing best practices and scalable processes while elevating HR to meet the needs of a growing construction company looking to employ, train, and retain the best team. This position reports directly to the General Counsel/Chief Compliance Officer, but there is an opportunity for this role to develop into an officer position and report directly to the CEO.

What You’ll Do

• Lead HR strategy to support overall business goals.
• Manage and develop your HR team.
• Build and strengthen HR policies, processes, and systems.
• Partner with leadership to drive a positive, high-performance culture.
• Oversee employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
• Manage benefits, compensation, and talent development programs.
• Design and oversee organization-wide training and development.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (advanced degree/HR certification preferred).
• 10+ years of progressive HR leadership, with experience in both large and small organizations.
• Proven ability to drive organizational change and lead HR transformations.
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment law.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
