Position: Backend Software Engineer: Go

Referral Partner: Crossing Hurdles

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $80 $100 per hour (Median inclusive of bonuses: $200/hr)

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10 40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities (Training support will be provided)

• Develop and validate coding benchmarks in Go using real-world repositories and issues.
• Implement comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code accuracy and scalability.
• Maintain benchmark consistency and quality across diverse software domains.
• Debug, optimize, and document benchmark code for reliability and reproducibility.
• Provide structured feedback on code quality, clarity, and performance.

Requirements

• Strong experience as a backend software engineer, ML engineer, or applied data scientist.
• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Go programming language.
• Skilled in debugging, testing, and code validation.
• Excellent technical writing and attention to detail.
