Job Description

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Epicor Data Consultant with expertise in Epicor's Data Management Tool (DMT), SQL, T-SQL, and SSRS to join our team. This is a 100% remote position with occasional travel as required to meet client needs. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to support data-related initiatives, create custom reports, and deliver exceptional client solutions within the Epicor ERP environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, analyze data needs, and implement data-driven solutions in the Epicor ERP system.
• Utilize Epicor's Data Management Tool (DMT) for data imports, updates, and migrations.
• Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and T-SQL scripts to support data integration and reporting.
• Create and maintain custom reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) to meet client business requirements.
• Provide guidance and support for data cleansing, validation, and transformation activities.
• Conduct data analysis to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of ERP data.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring seamless functionality within Epicor ERP systems.
• Document processes and best practices for data management and reporting solutions.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to ensure project goals and timelines are met.
• Travel as needed to client sites for discovery, implementation, or training sessions (approximately 10-20%).

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Epicor Data Consultant or similar role, with expertise in Epicor ERP systems.
• Hands-on experience with Epicor’s Data Management Tool (DMT) for data migration and updates.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and T-SQL for querying and database management.
• Strong experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) for report development.
• Solid understanding of data integration, transformation, and migration processes.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client-facing interactions.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote environment.
• Willingness and ability to travel to client sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of additional Epicor modules or tools.
• Experience in training end-users and providing documentation.
• Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.

Position Type:
