Job Description

A global packaging manufacturing company is looking to appoint an EHS Specialist to lead its EHS function across a facility in the Allentown, PA area. The successful candidate will be tasked with training and fostering a healthy safety culture, requiring the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at various levels of the business.

The Role:

• Help develop and implement safety management systems and strategies.
• Provide support and guidance to site leadership on Safety practices and protocols.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation, as well as site safety trainings.
• Develop relationships with all employees while working hands-on to implement safety programs.
• Work in conjunction with the company’s partners and adhere to their safety needs

The Candidate:

• 3+ years of Safety experience in industrial manufacturing and warehouse environment
• B.S. degree in Occupational Safety & Health or preferred
• Familiarity with standard Safety programs & policies, such as Confined Space, LOTO, Working at Heights, Machine Guarding, and PPE.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage others.
