Driver / Loader / Receiving Assistant:
Schedule: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (includes overtime)
Availability: Must be flexible and available between 4:00 AM – 4:00 PM on short notice (1–2 days)
About the Role:
Jefferson Millwork & Design is seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to join our logistics team as a Driver / Loader / Receiving Assistant. This position plays a key role in ensuring efficient material handling, accurate deliveries, and a well-maintained work environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and takes pride in doing the job right.
Responsibilities:
•Safely operate company vehicles of all sizes, including 24’ box delivery trucks.
•Serve as a substitute driver when regular drivers are unavailable.
•Receive, allocate, and organize materials for delivery — including labeling, scanning, and loading for same-day dispatch.
•Assist with sorting veneer and hardware, including heavy lifting and movement of sheet goods.
•Maintain a clean and organized shop and canopy area, including emptying trash cans and hoppers.
•Support general warehouse and loading operations as needed.
Qualifications:
•Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
•Prior manual labor experience required; millwork experience is a plus but not necessary.
•Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely and efficiently.
•Flexible schedule and willingness to adjust to shift changes when needed.
•Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork skills
