Akkodis is seeking a Devops Engineer GCP for a Contract job with a client in Dearborn, MI. "The ideal candidate should have experience with 10+ years of experience as a Devops Engineer with Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications

Rate Range: $63/hour to $67/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Devops Engineer Job responsibilities include:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Cloud Build, Jenkins, or GitLab CI on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, and scripting languages.
• Monitor and maintain system performance, availability, and security using GCP tools like Stackdriver, Cloud Monitoring, and Cloud Logging.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline cloud-native deployments, incident response, and system scalability.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 8+ years of combined experience working as a DevOps Engineer
• Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications.
• Cloud experience with GCP is Must.
• Experience with MQTT protocol,
