We need a data professional like you to help our clients find answers in their data to impact important missions from fraud detection to cancer research, to national intelligence. As a data engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll use your skills to help build advanced technology solutions and implement data engineering activities on some of the most mission-driven projects in the industry. You’ll help develop and deploy the pipelines and platforms that organize and make disparate data meaningful. Here, you’ll learn from a multi-disciplinary team of analysts, data engineers, developers, and data consumers in a fast-paced, agile environment. You’ll grow your skills in analytical exploration and data examination while you support the assessment, design, building, and maintenance of scalable platforms for your clients. • Experience with AWS cloud services, including EC2 instances, CloudWatch monitoring, and Lambda functions
• Experience programming with JavaScript, Python, and SQL
• Experience optimizing queries and ensuring data integrity
• Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience designing, developing, operationalizing, or maintaining data applications, pipelines, or storage, or 7+ years of experience designing, developing, operationalizing, or maintaining data applications, pipelines, or storage in lieu of degree

• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• AWS Certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $48,000.00 to $98,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
