Ultimate Staffing is seeking experienced Customer Service Representative to support our local Detroit, MI clients. These opportunities vary from project-based to full-time open positions. Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Job Summary:

We are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented, and solution-driven Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. The CSR will serve as the first point of contact for customers, providing support, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience across all communication channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or in person in a timely and professional manner.
  • Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint, determining the cause, and offering appropriate solutions.
  • Maintain customer records by updating account information and documenting interactions.
  • Process orders, forms, applications, and requests accurately.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure resolution and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex issues and improve customer experience.
  • Stay up to date on product knowledge, company policies, and procedures.
  • Identify and escalate priority issues to the appropriate channels.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using customer service software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
