Job Description

HTI is hiring CNC Machinists for a Client in the Fountain Inn, SC area. These are contract positions with the potential to become full time working Monday-Thursday 9:00 am-7:00 pm or Sunday-Wednesday 7:00pm-5:00 am.

Pay is $26.00 - $28.00 Per Hour + $00.50 Per Hour or $1.50 Per Hour Shift Differential. G-Code Required at this level.

Key Job Duties:

• Set up CNC machines and change tooling or saw blades to grind/cut steel.
• Program, load, and unload CNC equipment (lathes, mills, grinders).
• Interpret and work from blueprints, including industrial knife blueprints.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
• Perform quality checks and complete Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts for all assignments.
• Accurately input data into ERP systems and CNC programs.
• Maintain machines and work area with routine cleaning and basic upkeep.
• Work with urgency to meet daily production requirements.
• Follow all required safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing and safety training initiatives.
• Provide support and training to team members when needed.
• Cross-train into other positions as requested.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skill Requirements You Will Need:

• Knowledge of G-Code and CNC operations.
• Ability to troubleshoot and work effectively with others.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings/blueprints.
• Understanding of fractions, decimals, and basic math.
• Familiar with Microsoft Teams and email communication.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of shift.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
