Commercial Estimator – Specialty Contractor (Florida)

We’re seeking a Commercial Estimator to join a well-established specialty contractor delivering high-quality plaster, drywall, EIFS/stucco, framing, and specialty finishes across Florida. This role focuses on producing accurate, competitive estimates for commercial projects ranging from standard drywall scopes to complex plaster systems and exterior finishes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed, accurate estimates for commercial bids covering plastering, drywall, EIFS/stucco, lath & plaster, decorative plaster, and framing.
• Review drawings, specifications, scopes, subcontractor pricing, and material requirements.
• Develop cost models, assemblies, takeoffs, and labor projections.
• Coordinate with project management, suppliers, and field teams to validate quantities and assumptions.
• Analyze bid opportunities and recommend pricing strategies and value-engineering options.
• Produce clear, professional bid packages for clients and general contractors.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Commercial Estimator within specialty contracting, plastering, drywall, or related wall and finish systems.
• Strong takeoff skills with solid knowledge of plaster/drywall systems, framing, and finish assemblies.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with estimating software and digital plan review.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and competitiveness.
