Silverback Coffee of Rwanda is looking for a PART TIME coffee roaster to join our 2 person team. We are located in Los Angeles, CA. 90015

Our ideal candidate is attentive, self motivated, hard-working and clean - Must have some coffee roasting experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to roast and bag coffee for distribution.
• Maintain roast profiles by examining products during and after processing.
• Perform preventative maintenance and cleaning of machinery and roasting facility 
• Record production data, such as roasting dates, times, and amounts, in daily log sheets.
• Is ok with early morning shift starting at 5am

· Tracking and maintaining inventory levels for both green and roasted coffee.

· Manage the roasting schedule.

• Will work with the Operations Team in roasting experiments, improving inventory accuracy and forecasting, along with consistency in roasting profiles.
• Able to lift a minimum 40 pounds

Qualifications

• MUST have experience roasting on a commercial roaster
