The Clinical Manager of the Liver Transplant Center is a key leader responsible for overseeing clinical operations, ensuring quality care, and driving program growth.
A caregiver in this role provides strategic and operational leadership across perioperative and post-transplant care, ensuring seamless coordination, regulatory compliance, and high-quality patient outcomes. You will directly supervise a multidisciplinary team while serving as a key liaison between nursing, surgical, and medical leadership to drive excellence in liver transplant care.

**A caregiver in this position works Monday - Friday, from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., with on-call requirements as needed.**
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
+ Lead and manage the nursing operations of the Liver Transplant Program.
+ Promote staff engagement, teamwork, and role clarity to maintain high levels of nursing job satisfaction and retention.
+ Ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance, with a focus on continuous quality improvement (CQI).
+ Develop and monitor quality assurance (QA) metrics and lead related performance improvement initiatives.
+ Provide direct managerial oversight to clinical nurse coordinators, ensuring effective workflows and communication.
+ Collaborate with OR, ICU, and inpatient unit managers (adult and pediatric) through matrixed leadership to coordinate transplant care.
+ Support strategic initiatives that enhance the patient experience, clinical outcomes, and program growth.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
+ Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
+ Current state licensure as an Registered Nurse (RN).
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association OR American Red Cross
+ Minimum five years' experience in organ procurement or transplantation.
+ Progressively responsible managerial experience including hiring, orientation, scheduling and evaluation of employees in a clinical environment
+ Experience in quality management and quality improvement.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
+ Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred
+ Nursing certification in specialty area preferred.
+ Detailed knowledge of UNOS and OSOTC policies and program standards related to organ transplantation and allocation preferred.

**Physical Requirements:**
+ Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
+ Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Requires corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
+ Requires some exposure to communicable disease or bodily fluids.
+ Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
+ Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
**Personal Protective Equipment:**
+ Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
**Pay Range**
Minimum Annual Salary: $92,620.00
Maximum Annual Salary: $141,265.00
