Job Description

A fast-growing food manufacturing company is seeking an Office Administrator to manage day-to-day office operations and support cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is a dependable and detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt to evolving business needs. Reporting directly to the Business Manager, the new team member will strengthen operational efficiency by coordinating administrative processes, supporting multiple departments, and facilitating communication while ensuring a smooth and professional office environment.

Salary + Additional Benefits:

  • $50,000-$65,000

Location: Houston, TX - FULLY ON SITE

Schedule: 6 am - 3 pm

Type of Position: Direct Hire

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily office operations, including supply management and errands.
  • Manage incoming phone calls and email correspondence.
  • Coordinate scheduling, maintain filing systems, and prepare documents.
  • Monitor billing processes to ensure timely invoicing and payments.
  • Support employee onboarding, scheduling, and time tracking activities.
  • Assist with payroll, human resources tasks, and marketing initiatives.
  • Prepare and process shipping-related documentation.
  • Coordinate sample shipments and track related logistics.
  • Manage raw material inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Contribute to the implementation of new systems and software tools.
  • Take on additional responsibilities and special projects in a dynamic work environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in office administration or management preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
  • Strong computer proficiency with solid knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with accounting and payroll systems preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
  • Receptive to feedback and direction.
  • Comfortable adopting new technology and tools.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to evolving priorities.
