Now Hiring: 1:1 School Nurse - LPN (25/26 School Year) – Washington

Location: Sammamish, WA.

Contract through the 25/26 school year.
Schedule: 22.5–30 hours/week | Follows school district calendar.
Setting: High School openings.

Pay: 

• Weekly Pay: $990-1,080.

Your Role as a 1:1 School Nurse (LPN):

• Provide direct 1:1 nursing care during school hours and transportation times.
• Monitor and manage ventilator and tracheostomy equipment , including suctioning and emergency interventions.
• Administer medications, tube feedings, and other ordered treatments.
• Document daily nursing notes and maintain accurate health records.
• Collaborate with school staff, family, and healthcare providers as needed.
• Implement and follow the student’s Individualized Health Plan (IHP) .
• Ensure a safe and clean environment on the bus and in the classroom.
• Respond quickly and appropriately to medical emergencies.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Must have active Washington state or compact LPN license in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of experience in pediatric, home care, or school-based nursing.
• Ventilator and tracheostomy care experience required.
• Must be able to ride and supervise on the school bus .
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Certification: CPR/BLS.
• Physical ability to meet job demands (e.g., standing, sitting, lifting up to 40 lbs).
