Village Development Will Now Be Driven by Village Decisions: MLA Deepti Kiran Maheshwari Launches VBG Ram Ji Employment Scheme in Mohi Rajsamand, July 2: Rajsamand MLA Deepti Kiran Maheshwari inaugurated the Viksit Bharat–Rozgar Aur Aajeevika Guarantee Mission (VBG Ram Ji) in Mohi village as part of the Central Government's initiative launched nationwide on July 1 to support the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047. The programme began with bund construction, land levelling, and plantation work near the village gaushala. Addressing the gathering, Maheshwari described the scheme as a convergence of employment, dignity, and development, saying it is not just a livelihood initiative but a strong foundation for building a self-reliant and empowered rural India. The MLA said that under the new scheme, Gram Panchayats will prepare development plans based on local needs, ensuring that planning, decision-making, and implementation take place at the village level. She added that the programme guarantees 125 days of employment to rural residents, while wages will be paid within 15 days, providing a significant boost to the rural economy. Among those present at the launch were BJP District President Jagdish Paliwal, former Pradhan Arvind Singh Rathore, former Mandal President Digvijay Singh Bhati, Subhash Paliwal, former Chairman Ashok Ranka, former Municipal Vice-President Rajkumar Agrawal, Kanhaiyalal Soni, Murari Ashiya, District Collector Arun Kumar Hasija, Chief Executive Officer Brijmohan Bairwa, Sub-Divisional Officer Brijesh Gupta, Tehsildar Pushpendra Kitawat, Development Officer Bhawani Shankar Regar, along with public representatives, government officials, and a large number of villagers.
